Error description

  • The INZU250E INVALID DATETIME CONSTANT 'datetime value' message
is unduly issued regarding a valid date/time constant specified
    by a logical unload.
    - If the native mode is requested (DB2 NO), the unload stops and
ends with a completion code of 8.
    - If the SQL mode is allowed (DB2 YES), the processing continues
in SQL mode with a completion code greater than or equal to 4.

This occurs if all the following conditions are fulfilled:
    - the Db2 sub-system is set up with a LOCAL DATE/TIME format
    - the logical unload specifies an SQL expression involving a
date/time constant, (the expression may consist of the date/time
constant itself) either in the list of selected items or in the
    WHERE clause

Local fix

  • - For an unload from an image copy (COPYDDN option), no
    workaround exists.

    - For any other unload, specify DB2 FORCE to allow the unload to
complete without the INZU250E message being unduly issued.

    - For any unload running with DB2 YES that completes
successfully, a return code of 4 will be issued regardless of
whether the INZU250E message is issued or not, and needs to be
    tolerated.
