Error description
When IMS APAR PH18953 is not applied and DEDB has FPSI defined and specifying a SRCH field to use part of the concatenated key, the /CK information does not stored in the IMS catalog database. After applying IMS APAR PH18953, it is stored to new field in the IMS catalog database however the Catalog Manager does not retrieve it from new field. IMS APAR PH62176 fixes incorrect SCAN= value of DATASET statement in DBDs in the IMS catalog database. The decode function of the Catalog Manager does not decodes the stored value when SCAN=0 is specified.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IMS Library Integrity Utilities (LIU) for * * z/OS, Version 2 Release 2 (FMID=H27P220) * * users who use the Catalog Manager utility * * or LIU under the IMS Administration Tool. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When IMS APAR PH18953 is applied, /CK * * information for DEDB which has FPSI is * * stored correctly to the new field in * * the IMS catalog database. Library * * Integrity utilities (LIU) should * * retrieve the /CK information from new * * field. Also, LIU should decode DATASET * * SCAN parameter for HIDAM or HDAM even * * when SCAN=0 is stored in the IMS * * catalog database. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** When IMS APAR PH18953 is not applied and DEDB has FPSI defined and specifying a SRCH field to use part of the concatenated key, the /CK information is not stored in the IMS catalog database correctly. After applying IMS APAR PH18953, the correct value is stored to the new field in the IMS catalog database however the Library Integrity Utilities (LIU) does not retrieve it from the new field. This APAR fixes the LIU to retrieve the /CK information from new field in the IMS catalog database. The map function of the Catalog Manager can report these value correctly and LIU under the IMS Administration Tool can decode DBD source with these correct value. This APAR also fixes LIU to decode SCAN=0 in DATASET statement for HIDAM or HDAM even when SCAN=0 is stored in the IMS catalog database. Without IMS APAR PH62176, SCAN=0 value is not stored in the IMS catalog database. After applying IMS APAR PH62176, SCAN=0 is stored however LIU does not decode it. This APAR fixes the Catalog Manager and LIU under the IMS Administration Tool to decode SCAN value even when the value is 0.
