OCPv Environment – VM Console Reconnecting Issue

Summary

The VM console cycles between Reconnecting → Connecting → Login Screen → Reconnecting.

Objective

Root Cause:

This happens when the user opens multiple console sessions. OCPv environments support only one active session at a time.

Resolution:

  • Make sure you have only one browser tab or window open with the console.

  • Close any extra sessions and refresh the console.

  • Wait a few moments before trying again if the issue continues.

To avoid this, always use a single connection when accessing the console in OCPv environments.
