QRadar: Unable to Download a Log Source from Log Source Management (LSM)

Problem

At times, downloading a log source from Log Source Management (LSM) may fail due to changes in the sensorprotocol table. The purpose of this article is to assist administrators in efficiently downloading log sources from LSM.

Symptom

When this issue occurs, you may observe the following symptoms:

In Log Source Management (LSM), attempting to download a log source will fail.

In below example, when trying to download the 'Cisco Iron' Syslog log source, selecting the log source and clicking the 'Download' button, does not initiate the download as expected.
