Abstract

Self Service Center (SSC) in IBM Maximo IT is being deprecated in 9.1 and will reach end of support and application will no longer be accessible in the next release (9.2). This change is aligned with Maximo IT's broader vision of modernizing self-service features of the product. Customers currently using SSC are advised to review the available options to ensure continuity in their self-service operations.

As part of the ongoing evolution of IBM Maximo IT platform, the application Self Service Center (SSC) will no longer be available in version 9.2. The application was deprecated in version 9.1, and support for the application will officially terminate with the release of IBM Maximo IT next release (9.2).
Organizations leveraging SSC for end user requests and incident initiation, ticket tracking, or other self-service workflows should evaluate the new applications and features in IBM Maximo IT which provide the similar capabilities and others. IBM Maximo IT’s Self Serve application is designed with new modern UX, focused on usability, extensibility, and alignment with the overall IBM UI framework and integration patterns. Self Serve supports many user-driven functions and should be well-suited to address common business needs in the capabilities of end user support. Self Serve offers a modern UX aligned with current product direction and is designed to meet common self-service requirements.
