PH67145: COMPARE GENERATING UNNECESSARY ADMIN ALTER STATEMENT WHEN CHANGE MANAGEMENT IS ACTIVE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using change management, Compare drops and recreates a
  table to reflect column changes. However, an unnecessary DROP
  COLUMN statement is being generated. When analyzing the change,
  the MERGE step throws error ADB8028E, as we are trying to drop a
  column that no longer exists.

  Change Management generates unnecessary ADMIN ALTER TABLE DROP
  COLUMN or REPLACE COL for tables that
  have already been re-created with the column changes. This
  behavior causes errors ADB8028E and ADB8068I during the MERGE
  step when analyzing a change.
  

Problem conclusion

• The problem has been resolved; Object Compare now ensures that
  dropped tables do not have additional ADMIN ALTER statements
  applied after they have been altered and re-created.
