    This PTF provides essential fixes and enhancements for
    MGM6SITE topology in GDPS Metro Global - GM, and essential
    fixes for GDPS Solutions Manager in MGM4SITE and MGM6SITE
    topologies.
    
    Installation is required for all MGM6SITE and GSM users.
    

Problem conclusion

  • DOCUMENTATION CHANGES:
    
    1. GDPS Messages and Codes (ZG24-6762) is updated to reflect
    revised explanation for message GEO2558E. See DOC hold for
    details.
    
    2. GDPS Metro Global - GM 4.8 Installation and Customization
    Guide (ZG24-6758) is updated as follows:
    
    Table 1 is updated and the following topics are added for
    MGM 6-site:
    
    - MGM6SITE_SWITCH_PREPARE
    - MGM6SITE_CHECK_IR
    - MGM6SITE_CLEANUP_IR_RSp_RSs
    - Planned region switch after loss of A.RS1
    - Planned region switch after loss of A.RS3
    
    3. GDPS Solutions Manager 4.8 Installation and Customization
    Guide (ZG24-6764) is updated as follows:
    
    - Topic 'Functional Restrictions in GDPS Solutions Manager 4.8'
    is updated to remove 'Region switch functions not available'
    
    - Topic 'Preparing your GEOGROUP for GSM' is updated to include
    considerations for REGION switch in MGM 4-site and MGM 6-site
    with GSM.
