Question

What are the available Ransomware Threat Detection (RTD) model patches for IBM Storage Virtualize systems, and which versions are they compatible with?

Cause

IBM continuously enhances its Ransomware Threat Detection (RTD) capabilities by releasing updated models. These models improve detection accuracy and are made available to customers through installable RTDModel patches. Customers with RTD-capable systems may need to determine which patch version applies to their environment.

 

Answer

The following tables provide information about the RTD patches that have been made generally available. Each new RTD model replaces the previous version and is intended for use unless an equal or newer version is already included in your system.

RTD patches are available via auto-download on supported systems (if auto-download is enabled). If not visible, contact IBM Support for FixCentral access or installation guidance. These patches require systems equipped with FCM4 (FlashCore Module Gen 4) arrays. Refer to the product documentation to learn more about patch behavior and system integration.
