IJ54987: MMRESTORECONFIG FAIL TO RECREATE IW CACHE MODE FILESET

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• mmrestoreconfig restores file system configuration information
  which includes fileset information. When recreating AFM
  filesets, mmrestoreconfig tries to restore afmShowHomeSnapshot
  attributes but AFM does not allow to set afmShowHomeSnapshot
  attribute for IW cache mode fileset. Hence mmrestoreconfig will
  fail if there is an IW cache mode fileset.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• mmrestoreconfig restores file system configuration information
  which includes fileset information. When recreating AFM
  filesets, mmrestoreconfig tries to restore afmShowHomeSnapshot
  attributes but AFM does not allow to set afmShowHomeSnapshot
  attribute for IW cache mode fileset. Hence mmrestoreconfig will
  fail if there is an IW cache mode fileset.
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem is fixed in 5.2.3.1
