* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In rare cases, COBOL programs may       *
*                      result in a "Assertion failed at        *
*                      ./CFGChecker.cpp:97" failure when       *
*                      optimized by ABO. This happens due to   *
*                      ABO incorrectly processing a specific   *
*                      kind of control flow generated by the   *
*                      COBOL compiler.                         *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply provided service                       *
****************************************************************
ABO was modified to correctly optimize programs containing the
affected type of control flow.

Problem conclusion

  • ABO was modified to correctly optimize these types of input
modules.
