APAR status

Error description

  • GPFS daemon could fail unexpectedly with logAssertFailed:
firstValidOffset >= blockOffset && lastValidOffset >
firstValidOffset.   This could occur on file system with HAWC
enabled.

Local fix

  • Disable HAWC
