Error description

  • mmrestorefs recreates all files and directories that were
deleted after the snapshot was taken. If the deleted file is a
special file, mmrestorefs uses mknod() system call to create the
file. But mknod() cannot create a socket file on AIX. Hence, if
socket files were deleted after the snapshot was
taken, mmrestorefs on AIX will fail during re-creating the socket
    file.
