p9998 Health Check Patch fails with ERROR: Backup server host key algorithm is not compatible with Redhat 9

Troubleshooting


Problem

When preparing to upgrade to Guardium v12 a customer may encounter an error when applying the prerequisite p9998 Health Check patch. This occurs when the configured backup server has an older operating system or ssh server that does not support SHA-2 algorithms.

Symptom

The error produced by the p9998 patch that may be received is ERROR: Backup server host key algorithm is not compatible with Redhat 9.
