Summary
OpenSSH is a widely adopted open-source implementation of the Secure Shell (SSH) protocol, commonly used for remote command-line access to computers. Security audits and vulnerability assessments often require verifying the SSH version running on an IVIA appliance.
IVIA operates as a closed-box appliance, where you cannot install applications or run Linux commands. Only a predefined set of commands can be executed on IVIA VA through SSH using the admin user. Also, direct access to the OS is unavailable, meaning the OpenSSH version bundled with IVIA can only be updated through firmware releases.
