IBM InfoSphere Data Replication Dashboard

The InfoSphere Data Replication Dashboard is a web-based application that monitors the health of replication and event publishing. IBM supports usage of the dashboard "as is" in the current release but is likely to remove the function in a future release.

This release includes the following new and changed features:

The dashboard introduced basic definitions support in version In this release we are adding additional features as described in this section, however, not all features that are currently supported in the Replication Center are available in the dashboard. Over time we will add all definition features available in the Replication Center.

Create and delete queue maps
You can now create queue maps from the Definitions area in the Dashboard. You can also specify options on how to handle errors, number of Q Apply agents and other properties. You can also list and delete queue maps from the Definitions > Queue Map area.

Show and edit ASNCLP scripts for defining Q subscriptions and queue maps
You can now see the ASNCLP script that will be used for any Q Replication definition operation that is supported by the dashboard. The supported definition operations are create and delete Q subscriptions and create and delete queue maps. You can copy the text in the generated script to save and run it later outside of the dashboard. You can also modify the generated script before submitting it for the dashboard to run. This allows you to use features available in ASNCLP that are not yet available in the Dashboard, such as defining expressions when creating Q subscriptions.

Create Q subscriptions
You can now specify the target table when creating Q subscriptions from the dashboard.

Faster group load
The dashboard now opens monitoring groups faster by preloading them when the web server is started. You can disable this option by deselecting Settings > Global Defaults > Fast loading of monitoring groups.

Receive queue and Q subscription operations
You can now stop, start, reinitialize and purge receive queues from the dashboard. The dashboard uses the new Q Apply command interface to perform those operations. You can also perform stop, spill, resume, and load done operations on the Q subscriptions using Q Apply commands from the dashboard. These new receive queue and Q subscriptions operations are available if the target server ARCH_LEVEL is 1021 or above with PTF PI32731.
