Removing a Hard Drive from the Carrier

To safely remove a hard drive from its carrier, follow these steps:

  1. Unscrew the Slide Rails
    Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the screws securing the slide rails on both sides of the hard drive carrier.
  2. Lift the Drive Out
    Gently lift the hard drive straight up and out of the carrier.

Installing a Hard Drive into the Carrier

To install a hard drive into the carrier:

  1. Insert the Drive
    Place the hard drive into the carrier with the connector end facing the rear.
  2. Align the Screw Holes
    Match the screw holes on the drive with those on the carrier. The back of the drive should be flush with the rear edge of the carrier when aligned correctly.
  3. Secure the Drive
    Fasten the drive to the carrier using the appropriate screws.
