  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • This APAR includes fixes to various defects identified in CICS
    Explorer 5.5.0.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • - The enumeration values for the xxxSEV attributes on the MAS
table do not correctly display all of the available options.
    - It is not currently possible to extra global transient data
    statistics via the GraphQL API.
    - Jakarta EE 10 is not available in the classpath library for
IBM CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 6.1.

Problem conclusion

  • - In relation to the Security Discovery Perspective, a new
CICS Explorer view, todo list, has been created. The todo list
is intended to guide users through using the editor, items that
appear in the todo list are called 'issues'. Issues are
anything found in the current model that is considered to not
be best practice; nearly all of the issues are considered to be
optional and can be 'hidden' by the user. When an issue is
selected, a more detailed description of the issue is
displayed, along with details as to what can be done about it.
A list of corresponding actions that can be taken is displayed.
Every time that something happens to the model, a re-scan is
performed to find any new issues with the todo list being
updated if anything has changed. For further information see
    the CICS Explorer documentation:

    iews
    - In support of PH63207, the enumeration values for the xxxSEV
attributes on the MAS table have been corrected.
    - The CPSM TDQGBL resource table has now been exposed through
the GraphQL API. This will enable customers to be able to
extract global transient data statistics via the GraphQL API
(in addition to the CMCI API).
    - Jakarta EE 10 is now available in the classpath library for
IBM CICS Transaction Server for z/OS 6.1.
    .
This fix will be made available in Version 5.5.43 (33.0.14 and
    34.0.4) of the CICS Explorer.
