A Basemap using a Cached layer is required for Maximo Spatial 9.0 and later versions. The basemap serves as the foundational reference for rendering all map layers. If no basemap is configured in the Map Manager, the system will display the error: "Map has no basemap".
To ensure proper map functionality, please verify that a valid cached basemap is set up in your Map Manager configuration.

To solve the error "Map has no basemap", it is needed to add a basemap at the Map Manager configuration.
  1. Add a Vector Tile Server basemap or a cached Map Server at the Map Manager layers, it will be used as the basemap reference.
  2. Save the Map Manager.
  3. Open the map, the Map Full Extent can be used for tests.
  4. The error "Map has no basemap" will not be thrown.
