    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Application slowdown occurred following application startup.
    Investigation finds a significant number of
    ConcurrentModificationExceptions occur.

Problem conclusion

  • When there are multiple consume or produce MediaTypes and we
    cache them there was the possibility of a
    ConcurrentModificationException if two threads sorted to the
    same cached value. This problems was addressed by sorting
    before putting items into the cache.
