QRadar: "AES: Datasize not exactly blocksize" error when running the Maxmind GeoUpdate manually via SSH

Troubleshooting

Problem

When you are attempting to update the MaxMind GeoIP database using SSH, the following error occurs:

AES: Datasize not exactly blocksize (16 bytes) at /opt/qradar/lib/Q1/auCrypto.pm line 79, <$fh> line 38.

Symptom

This error occurs when adding the user's credentials for Maxmind GeoIP database retrieval into the QRadar UI. Despite successfully testing the credentials in the lab configuration, the update fails on the live system.
