Error description

• When the total length of the Background Task list including
  separators is a doubleword multiple, an overlay can occur when
  viewing task data leading to unexpected results most likely an
  0C4 abend.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The OMEGAMON CICS agent RKLVLOG may     *
  *                      have many messages:                     *
  *                      KCP0106: TAN Cross Memory abend         *
  *                      collecting data for CICS xxxxxxxx,      *
  *                      Id=yyyyyyyy                             *
  *                                                              *
  *                      Many LOGREC records may be written      *
  *                      for the OMEGAMON CICS agent.            *
  ****************************************************************
  When the Background Task list including separators is a multiple
  of 8, or is 1 byte shorter than a multiple of 8, the end-of-list
  may not be detected. This results in a much larger token size
  than is expected which overlays the address of the next task to
  scan. That incorrect address will lead to undesirable results,
  most likely S0C4 abends.
  

Problem conclusion

• OMEGAMON CICS was changed to detect the end-of-list correctly.
