Abstract

Advance notification about SANnav OVA 8.x OS May 2025 software release if you plan to upgrade your existing SANnav OVA installation to v2.4.0a version.

Content

We are providing advance notification about SANnav OVA 8.x OS May 2025 software release.

We are informed that the 8.x May 2025 Rocky Linux Operating System update can be applied to any OVA installation of SANnav version v2.3.0 through v2.4.0.  The installation of this patch only upgrades the Rocky Linux OS with the latest security updates, while leaving the SANnav version running untouched.  Included in the Release Notes provided with the SANnav OVA 8.x OS May 2025 software release, will be installation instructions and other related details.

Note: If you plan to upgrade your existing SANnav OVA installation to v2.4.0a version, then this OS patch must be applied before starting your SANnav upgrade. Installation of this OS upgrade patch is not required for a new installation of the SANnav v2.4.0a OVA release, because it already contains all of the security updates included within the OS upgrade patch.
