Unable to login to ISIM

Troubleshooting


Problem

Login to ISIM (IBM Security Identity Manager) takes a long time or is not possible.

Symptom

User is unable to login to ISIM.
When ISIM is restarted the problem is temporarily fixed, but the problem repeats again after 1 to 2 hours as the screen keeps loading.

User sees LDAP connection closed messages such as this:
CTGIMO018E The following directory server error occurred. Error: 10.10.10.10:389; socket closed ]]>"
