Error description

The following message can be seen:

DFHPI0728 E date time applid userid PIPELINE pipeline
encountered an error in the configuration file filename for the

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Unexpected security exceptions can *
    * occur when CICS attempts to access a *
    * HFS file and a non-RACF ESM is being *
    *                      used.                                   *
    ****************************************************************
When using a non-RACF ESM, unexpected security exceptions can be
seen in CICS when attempting to access a HFS file when access
    should be granted.
This is due to changes made in DFHXSRC to implement Vendor Table
    Support for authorised vendors.

In the reporting customer's case they received the following
message after the CHECK_HFS_FILE function reported a NOTAUTH
    condition:

DFHPI0728 E date time applid userid PIPELINE pipeline
encountered an error in the configuration file filename for the
pipeline. The repository Axis2 configuration file element cannot
    be accessed by CICS.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHXSRC has been updated to correct this.
