PH66436: ABENDB37 OCCURS IN DRF SAS WHEN RECOVERING OSAM DB WITH SPLIT CA RECORDS

Error description

• DRF SAS failed with ABEND B37 when recovering HALDB(PHIDAM/OSAM)
  using IC and a CA (Change Accumulation) which was created from a
  DB with blocksize 32752 (or any large blocksize greater than
  32714 ).
  Some split records (type5310 and type5308) were created in this
  CA, and DRF would not properly handle these split CA detail
  records.                        ’          ’
  As a result, a loop occurred during output processing to the
  DBDA in DRF SAS, cause the same record to be output repeatedly
  resulting in ABENDSB37.

  When recovering HALDB(PHIDAM/OSAM) using IC and CA, DRF SAS
  failed with ABEND SB37.
  The CA was created from logs of DB with blocksize 32752 (or any
  large blocksize greater than 32714 ), some split CA records
  (type5310 and type5308) were created in this CA, and DRF would
  not properly handle these split CA detail records.
  As a result, a loop occurred during output processing to the
  DBDS in DRF SAS, cause the same record to be output repeatedly
  resulting in ABEND SB37.
  

Problem conclusion

• FRXIICA is changed so that in the process of applying a CA
  record to a DB record, it determines whether the CA DETAIL
  record is split, and if so, applies the two split CA DETAIL
  records to one and the same DB record.
