This page details the supported external targets for replication and archival for IBM Storage Defender Data Protect.

The IBM Storage Defender Data Protect cluster can make additional copies of recovery points to a designated external target, such as tape or cloud storage.
In the user guides for Data Protect 7.1.2 and later, see in the chapter "Manage External Targets" how to manage, and unregister the external targets that have been registered on the Data Protect cluster. You can find the Data Protect user guides in the Featured Documents: IBM Storage Defender.
The following external targets are tested and qualified by IBM:
