Summary
In the May 2025 patch of IBM Maximo Scheduler Optimizer, a packaging issue related to Multi-Architecture (Multi-Arch) support affects installation in Airgap environments. As a result, Airgap customers will not be able to install this specific patch version.
Details
During the implementation of Multi-Arch support in an ongoing patch cycle, the Operator was configured to request container images without architecture-specific (ARCH) suffixes. This configuration works in connected environments but prevents successful deployment in Airgap setups where image availability must be explicitly controlled.
We are actively working on a fix and expect this issue to be resolved in the next patch release.
Recommendation
If you are using an Airgap environment, do not apply the May 2025 patch of IBM Maximo Scheduler Optimizer. Please wait for the upcoming patch where this issue will be addressed.
For non-Airgap users, installation and usage of this patch are not impacted.
