What considerations are there for installing DWC 10.2.4 on z/OS , such as limitations on functionality , installation ( PAX ) file availability, types of RACF userids that can be used to install and execute the DWC in a z/OS environment ?

Have DWC 10.2.4 running on z/OS
Environment
z/OS with JAVA V17, liberty 24.0.0.0 or higher , DB2 V13
Steps
Download the PAX file from FIX CENTRAL that will be available as of April 28, 2025. An earlier version from April 15, 2025
should not be used.
Additional information will be added to this technote as it becomes available.
Additional Information
Note that the DWC mirroring function original added with DWC 10.2.3 is not supported with a DB2 on z/OS database at 10.2.4 level but is
planned for 10.2.5 when this release becomes available.
If there is an issue with the JDBC drivers, which are pointed to by this parameter in the configureDbDb2z.properties file:
DB_DRIVER_PATH
the configureDb.sh script may get RC=3072 and messages similar to this:
