Please note that this is a one-time option per environment, and any longer extensions need to be requested through a Support ticket.
To use an emergency extension, please open the AskTZ chatbot.
This can be found in the bottom right corner of the page https://techzone.ibm.com/my/reservations by selecting the icon

Then, type “emergency extension.” AskTZ will then prompt you with the reservations that are currently active. Please select the environment you are looking to have extended

Once successfully extended, you will see a confirmation message like the below indicating that the extension request was successful and the date it will be provisioned until:

- One-time emergency extension for 3 days ( falls on weekend, we extend it till next Monday).
- Must be requested at least 15 minutes before expiration.
- Only one extension allowed per reservation and allowed via AskTZ.
- Reservations active for 90+ days are not eligible for an extension.
- Expired reservations are hidden; only ready-state reservations are visible and eligible for extension requests.
