FreeType (CVE-2025-27363) has been addressed in IBM Cognos Analytics 12.1.0 Interim Fix 1 and IBM Cognos PowerPlay Server Interim Fix 1.
IBM Cognos Analytics 12.1.0 Interim Fix 1 and IBM Cognos PowerPlay Server Interim Fix 1 address FreeType (CVE-2025-27363). IBM Cognos Analytics and IBM Cognos PowerPlay Server are considered affected by an arbitrary code execution in FreeType (CVE-2025-27363). Freetype is used by IBM Cognos PowerPlay Server to render fonts. This is addressed in IBM Cognos Analytics 12.1.0 Interim Fix 1 and IBM Cognos PowerPlay Server Interim Fix 1.
