IBM Support

Certificate Stores table in Navigator for i

Troubleshooting

Problem

A common pain point of managing certificate stores on a system is that they can be placed anywhere on the system.  So IBM i users have to keep track of all the certificate store paths and communicate them with other users when needed.
The Certificate Stores table is a tool for keeping track of the certificate stores on the system, simplifying the process of tracking and communicating them across teams of IBM i users. In the Liberty Server and Network Server TLS wizards, this table provides a simpler option for specifying certificate stores when users have configured it beforehand.
By default, this table is empty. The Certificate Stores table is a feature that isn't required for any other IBM i or Navigator for i tasks, it is available for your benefit. Add your certificate stores here to more easily track and use them.
