IJ54449: CTRL+X TO DCONSOLE READ MODE TERMINATES HMC CONSOLE APPLIES TO AIX 7200-05

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• If there is a HMC session to an LPAR already open,
  and customer open a "dconsole" session to that LPAR
  and Try to press Ctrl+X, the remote HMC session
  terminates along with the local one.
  When customer runs the dkeyexch or dconsole command
  using a new target HMC, the commands will hang.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• If there is a HMC session to an LPAR already open,
  and customer open a "dconsole" session to that LPAR
  and Try to press Ctrl+X, the remote HMC session
  terminates along with the local one.
  When customer runs the dkeyexch or dconsole command
  using a new target HMC, the commands will hang.
  

Problem conclusion

• Handle the case when we get the msg "Exiting...." from mkvterm
  command, and error out of hmcconsole.expect script.
