Troubleshooting
Problem
The error "Unknown operation failed: FATAL EXCEPTION: SecureCommsException: GSKit SocInit failed." occurs when DOORS admin tries to Refresh List for DOORS database server using "DOORS Database Server Administration Tool".
Symptom
The error occurs when encrypting communication between IBM ERM DOORS client and server using certificates and DOORS admin tries to Refresh List for DOORS database server using "DOORS Database Server Administration Tool".
The error "Unknown operation failed: FATAL EXCEPTION: SecureCommsException: GSKit SocInit failed.
User list operation failed"

The error occurs with following scenarios:
1- If the "client_authentication.kdb" and "client_authentication.sth" files are not copied in <DOORS_install_dir>\<version>\certdb folder
2- If using encryption on multiple DOORS database servers on the same machine, see attached link for:
