Problem
The following error was encountered during the file restore process.
dsmc restore /Users/Documents/test.txt "/tmp/test_restore/*"
Restore function invoked.
ANS1082E Invalid destination file specification '/tmp/test_restore/*' entered
Symptom
From dsmerror.log:-
ANS1102E An excessive number of command line arguments are passed to the program.
ANS1133W An expression might contain a wildcard not enclosed in quotes.
ANS2039E Invalid destination file specification '/tmp/test_restore/*' entered
Cause
In this scenario, the destination path must end with a directory delimiter when performing a file list restore, restoring multiple files, or when the SUBDIR=YES option is used. Therefore, avoid using an asterisk in the destination path.
