mksysb on tapes currently does not support EFS data backup and restoration.
Problem conclusion
The limitation to backup/restore EFS datas from mksysb is only due to the required library, commands and kext missing in the tape boot image. This can be fixed, by restoring them from the mksysb that is on tape.
