APAR status

Error description

  • If an MQInput node is configured with an alias queue, and the
    user does not have browse permission on the base queue of the
    alias queue, the backout processing fails with MQRC 2035
    (MQRC_NOT_AUTHORIZED) error. The Broker system log displays
    BIP2604E and BIP2630E error messages.
    BIP2604E: ( BKR13.default )  An error occurred when opening IBM
    MQ queue ''INPUT.QUEUE'' owned by queue manager ''BKR13QMGR'':
    completion code 2; reason code 2035.
    BIP2630E: ( BKR13.default ) No backout queue or DLQ defined for
    a message to be backed out; received from queue
    ''INPUT.ALIAS.QUEUE'

    All users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V12.0 and V13.0 using
    the MQInput node configured with an alias queue.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    If an MQInput node is configured with an alias queue, and the
    user does not have browse permission on the base queue of the
    alias queue, the backout processing fails with MQRC 2035

Problem conclusion

  • The product now correctly handles message backout even when an
    MQInput node is configured to use an alias queue.
