Red Hat Marketplace available after April 1, 2025 Impact on MAS Suite and Accelerators.

News

Abstract

The Red Hat Marketplace, operated by IBM, will no longer be available after April 1, 2025. This impacts various MAS Suite components, including Suite Configurations, Accelerator Catalog, and Suite Accelerators pages.

Content

Affected Components

Suite Configurations Page

  • The page contains an entry for "Red Hat Marketplace" to configure connection details (URL, API Key, Pull secret).
  • Specifying values in these fields has no effect, and there is no indication of this to the user.

Accelerator Catalog Page

For New MAS Customers or Existing Customers Without RHMP Connection:

  • The page contains links to Red Hat Marketplace pages:
    • "Explore Red Hat Marketplace"
    • "Red Hat Marketplace Select"
    • "Integrate the Maximo Accelerator Catalog"
  • Clicking these links may result in a "Page Not Found" error if the RHMP website is deactivated.

For Existing MAS Customers Who Previously Configured RHMP:

  • The page will display a list of accelerators available during the last successful synchronization with RHMP.
  • Accelerators previously purchased may still be marked with an "Entitled" label.
  • Some accelerator detail pages may contain broken links, resulting in "Page Not Found" errors.

Suite Accelerators Page

For New MAS Customers or Existing Customers Without RHMP Connection:

  • The accelerators table will be empty, and users cannot perform any actions.

For Existing MAS Customers Who Previously Configured RHMP:

  • The accelerators table will list entitled accelerators purchased before RHMP was deactivated.
  • Accelerators can continue to be manually activated or deactivated.
  • IBM Maximo Models for Electrical Distribution Specific Behavior:
    • This accelerator previously supported automated deployment.
    • Attempts to activate this accelerator will result in the following error due to the RHMP S3 bucket being unavailable:
      • ErrorAIUCO1000E: The request was not valid. Review the constraint violations provided [1 violation].
