Troubleshooting
Problem
A QRadar system is configured to route emails via an Amazon AWS SMTP relay server. When QRadar attempts to send an email as a rule response or other notification it fails with the following message printed in the maillog:
<Timestamp> <QRadar hostname> postfix/smtp[]: : to=<DestinationEmailAddress>, relay=<AWSRelayServerHostname>[<AWSRelayServerIPAddress>]:<portNumber>, delay=0.22, delays=0.06/0.01/0.08/0.07, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (host <AWSRelayServerHostname>[<AWSRelayServerIPAddress>] said: 554 Message rejected: Email address is not verified. The following identities failed the check in region <RegionIdentifier>: <QRadarEmailAddress> (in reply to end of DATA command))
