webMethods Knowlegebase : Network User log onto the Integration Server is failing

Troubleshooting


Problem

After upgrading the webMethods platform from version 10.11 to 10.15, the network user fails to log onto the Integration Server (IS) with the below error thrown in the server.log:

Caused by: com.unboundid.ldap.sdk.LDAPException: Unable to parse string '(&(objectclass=group)(member=cn=<CN>,ou=groups,ou=exchange,dc=<DC>,dc=<DC>,dc=<DC>))' as an LDAP filter because it contains an unexpected opening parenthesis at position 40.
