In Integration Server (IS) Admin Console > Security > Ports > Enterprise Gateway Registration Port Connections on Enterprise Gateway (EG) server, the number of connected ports should match the Max Connections set in Internal Server.
However, a decrease in the number of ports is occasionally seen and the ports does not go back to the max connection count until IS is restarted.
For example, Max Connections is set to 5 in Internal Server, but only 4 connections are seen:
