On few occasions, Customer saw huge files generated in <SAG>/IntegrationServer/instances/default/config/work/ folder.
These files have been as large as 32 GB, and have names like <serviceName>.<TimeStamp> (For Example emailProducerTest.2019-02-15.04.43.52.564.318) , where:
- "emailProducerTest" is a service name on the IS, but also is the value for a pipeline string in the pipeline (ie. fileName=emailProducerTest)
- 2019-02-15 is date
- 04.43.52.564 is time to millis
- 318 seems to just be a sequence #
These huge files appear to be XML pipeline dumps...but are incomplete XML (ie. no closing tags, as the file system filled up before file write ever completed). The 32 GB consists of some document structure ('exception' with failed http call details) that recursively nests itself, several times.
The /config/work folder is used as a transient write location for various components on IS (ie. pub.flow:savePipelineToFile service, certain .cnf config files, etc).
