When attempting to create an SFTP Server Alias for a new Partner, the following error occurs:
"com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Algorithm negotiation fail"
The version of Integration Server is IS_9.5_SP1_Core_Fix12, using Java 1.8.0u101, and the following settings for extended property "watt.ssh.jsch.kex" (on separate lines below for readability purposes]:
watt.ssh.jsch.kex=diffie-hellman-group1-sha1,
ecdh-sha2-nistp256,
ecdh-sha2-nistp384,
ecdh-sha2-nistp521,
diffie-hellman-group14-sha1,
diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256,
diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1
Even after changing the order of the list of kex above on the extended property watt.ssh.jsch.kex, it is not possible to connect to this particular Partner.
Software AG has announced a resolution is being implemented as part of IS 9.12 (to be released in October 2016), but this resolution cannot be back-ported to IS 9.5 for technical/design reasons.
What is the recommended approach in the meantime?
