webMethods Knowlegebase : REST API request/response payload logging is not printed out to "server.log"

Troubleshooting

Problem

REST API calls request/response payload logging is not printed out to "server.log" when logging level is set to "Debug" for facility "0166 REST".

According to readme file of "IS_10.5_Core_Fix11" below, the payload logging of REST API calls into "server.log" will printed out only when logging level is set to "Debug" due they were incorrectly printed out for "Info" as well:

For a REST API call, Integration Server logs the request payload and the

response body in the server log.

The request payload and the response body might contain sensitive information

that must not be exposed. However, Integration Server logs the request payload

and the response body in server logs.

The issue is now resolved by changing the Logging Level for Integration Server

from "Info" to "Debug".

However, after setting the facility "0166 REST" to "Debug", REST logging is still not be recorded into the server log.
