Problem
Original Article Number : 542693 : Since recently changing the timeout values from 5 minutes to 20 minutes, and an increase in workload of approximately 25% in terms of transaction volumes, CPU usage has increased significantly.
Compuware STROBE trace indicates that the majority of the CPU is being used in module ETBXWRKR, section PCBCDRG@ staring location 002F80 (55%), and there is 15% being used at offset 02E40. Total CPU usage for PCBCDRG@ is 71% of total CPU usage.
What processing is this section of code related to, and what changes to configuration/usage of BROKER should be made to reduce CPU consumption.
