IBM® DOORS®: Why are links not included in a ReqIF package of baseline version modules?

Troubleshooting


Problem

You have created a ReqIF package that only includes baselined versions of modules and the link module that links the 2 modules.
When you import the ReqIF package into a new DOORS 9 database, the links do not appear.

Symptom

  • Create formal modules A and B and link them with a DOORS link module
  • Baseline both formal modules
  • Create a ReqIF package that only includes
    • the baseline module A
    • and B
    • and the DOORS link module
  • Import the ReqIF package into new DOORS 9 database
  • The links do not appear in the imported data.
