webMethods Knowlegebase : JNDI provider with LDAP (1763674)

Troubleshooting

Problem

From Enterprise Manager, under "JNDI" tab of UM realm, configuring the JNDI with LDAP (not with UM realm) as shown below:

JNDI context Factory: com.sun.jndi.ldap.LdapCtxFactory

JNDI Provider URL: ldap://<ldap_host>:<port>

Username: <ldap_username>

Password: <ldap_password>

After hitting "Apply" button, don't see any existing connection factories that are in the LDAP displayed here.

When attempting to create a connection factory, getting the error:

"Error Creating Factory".

Does UM or Enterprise Manager support this kind of configuration?
