webMethods Knowlegebase : WARN #1 Error: Loaded configuration cannot be null. caused by:
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Loaded configuration cannot be null after restarting the SPM. (1805692)

Troubleshooting


Problem

There is not a pub/sub license in the licenseKey.xml file present

{installation_directory}\IntegrationServer\instances\default\config\licenseKey.xml contains below field

<PubSub>No</PubSub>

Because of this when navigating to IS Admin Settings > Messaging > webMethods Messaging Settings:

No connections are available and the page shows error:

wm.server.messaging:getConnectionAliasReport

class com.wm.app.b2b.server.ServiceException

[ISS.0153.9012] The webMethods Messaging subsystem was not initialized. No webMethods Messaging features are available.

And the log file contains the following warning.

2020/04/22 15:39:39 INFO #1 Load Configuration Instance IS-DEFAULT-WMMESSAGING of type IS-DEFAULT-WMMESSAGING with the Status (CURRENT) from integrationServer-default

2020/04/22 15:39:39 WARN #1 Error: (id: 1587562779571) Loaded configuration cannot be null. caused by:

java.lang.IllegalStateException: Loaded configuration cannot be null.
