webMethods Knowlegebase : Bootstrap log file is reaching maximum size (1792837)

Troubleshooting


Problem

While installing the Platform Manager through composite templates seeing the file bootstrap_hostname_DateTimeStamp.log reach size of 2097192 KB.

The installation then fails with “max output length reached” message.

Getting the following error from the job manager while running the composite template:

"17 136 ERROR 45 Apply composite template is-layer_test Bootstrapping nodes... [CCEPROE0017] Remote command returned a non-zero exit code: 1"

Analyzing the installlog.txt, see the following error:

"error APP_ERROR> Installer: Products listed in the installation script /usr/local/wm/v912/p7010/bootstrap171986609535415177installer.script do not exist on the installer server or inside the installer image"

But the image used is the one Command Central has created while installing SPM (Service Platform Manager) directly from Master Product repository.
