Troubleshooting
Problem
The differences between versions has to do with Join evaluation and dead path propagation.
In v8.0.1, a given process executes successfully and do not see any unsatisfied joins.
In v9.6, the same process (rebuilt on v9.6 and redeployed) fails with unsatisfied join error.
