webMethods Knowlegebase : Activity Message logged within outbound mapping service of the user task does not come up. (1754434)

Troubleshooting


Problem

Activity message in database table (WMSERVICEACTIVITYLOG) which are put with 'pub.prt.log:logActivityMessages' does not come up in the view of the process instance details.

The problem happens only when 'pub.prt.log:logActivityMessages' is invoked in outbound mapping service for user task step in the process (not happen in inbound mapping service nor in service task).

In case of error, you will see the value of the database fields PARENTCONTEXTID and PROCESSSTEPCONTEXTID for the user task step in WMSERVICEACTIVITYLOG turns into 'null'.
